Introduction
God has always desired a people who will trust and believe in Him wholeheartedly. Yet, in these times, many who claim to follow Him have turned away, relying on worldly securities and false idols. This message calls believers to examine their hearts and renew their trust in God, who alone is faithful and sovereign. Trusting in the arm of flesh leads to despair, but trusting in God ensures peace, protection, and purpose.

God’s Call for Trust
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him." (Jeremiah 17:7)
The Lord longs for His people to place their full trust in Him. When we depend on God, we acknowledge His sovereignty and allow Him to guide our lives. However, many have strayed, trusting in human wisdom, government systems, and even demonic lies. God’s Word reminds us that these false securities will fail, but those who trust in the Lord will stand firm.

The Consequences of Distrust
"Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord." (Isaiah 31:1)

Distrust in God leads to spiritual failure and estrangement. When God’s people turn to the world for solutions, they invite curses upon themselves. The arm of flesh is frail and will crumble, leaving those who rely on it in despair. God warns against this path and calls His people to rely on Him alone.

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)
God searches for men and women who will trust Him completely. He treasures those who live by faith, walking in obedience to His Word. These individuals bring delight to God and serve as examples of unwavering faith in a time of widespread unbelief.

The Wrath of God Against Idolatry
"They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen." (Romans 1:25)
When God’s people place their trust in idols, they provoke His wrath. The pursuit of worldly securities, reliance on human systems, and alignment with demonic influences result in judgment. God’s justice will prevail, turning idolaters over to the very things they worship. His call to repentance is urgent and unwavering.

The Blessings of Trusting in God
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him." (Psalm 28:7)
Those who trust in the Lord experience His blessings and protection. God’s promises are sure, and He will never fail those who rely on Him. Trusting in God brings peace, joy, and a deep sense of purpose. It is a privilege to depend on the Creator who sustains all things.
