The Christian Manifesto #2 By Major Frank Materu

----Main Scripture:

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 5:10

----Introduction

In a world consumed by sin and rebellion, there is a call for Christians to stand firm and live by a higher standard—God’s standard. The Christian Manifesto is not a set of rules or ideals established by human wisdom or pride, but a divine directive handed down by the Living God. It is a call to live in obedience to His will, as demonstrated by Jesus Christ, who walked in perfect submission to the Father. While the world may grow bolder in its sin and pride, the true followers of Christ are called to reject sin, live righteously, and trust in the judgment and mercy of God. This manifesto directs us toward a life of obedience, purity, and divine purpose in the midst of a world that continues to spiral into deeper darkness.

----The Call to Follow Jesus’ Example

The foundation of the Christian Manifesto is the call to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. “When Jesus was present in bodily form, He did not seek His counsel or advice of the ungodly, He sought His counsel of the Father and He worked where He ordained Him to work.” Jesus did not allow the influence of the world or the ungodly to shape His path. He sought only the will of the Father, trusting completely in God’s plan, even when it led Him to a path of suffering and death. He understood that the path of obedience was the only way to fulfill His purpose and bring salvation to mankind.

For us, the example set by Jesus is clear: we are to seek God’s guidance, not the counsel of the world. We are to live by His will and not our own desires. As believers, we are called to reject the temptations and distractions that the world offers and to follow the path laid before us by God, just as Jesus did.

----The Consequences of Rebellion

In contrast to the obedient walk of a true believer, there are those who have chosen to live in rebellion against God. “There have been many who have hidden themselves in secret places to commit their abominations and sins that are horrid. However under the current national covering, they are coming out of hiding and declaring their abominations and gender alterations with pride.” Sin that was once hidden in the shadows is now being flaunted openly, as pride and defiance against God take center stage.

But the rebellion of the wicked will not go unchallenged. God has seen their actions, and the time is coming when His wrath will be revealed. The boastful will be humbled, and those who have rejected repentance will face the consequences of their defiance. Their sins will be exposed for all to see, and they will not escape God’s judgment. “You will see more and more of God’s wrath, fury, and indignation being revealed than ever before.”

God’s judgment is swift and just. There is no hiding from the all-seeing eyes of the Creator. Those who persist in sin will face a reckoning, and their prideful boasts will turn to shame. It is a reminder that, no matter how bold or confident the wicked may seem in their rebellion, God’s justice will prevail.

----The Deception of False Hope

Many have been deceived into thinking they can escape God’s judgment. Some believe in an imaginary escape through false teachings or ideologies, thinking they can avoid the consequences of their sin. “While multitudes have imagined that they will escape and find the safe place by an imaginary ‘catching away,’ they will find themselves left to face the fury of His anger against all who are sinning in major sins.”

This false hope of escape is a dangerous lie. There is no shortcut to salvation, and no amount of denial or wishful thinking will shield anyone from God’s wrath. Only those who walk in obedience to His will can find safety in His grace. There is no escaping the judgment that is coming for those who continue in sin.

----The Christian Manifesto in Action

The Christian Manifesto is not a passive declaration but a call to active obedience. “Follow in the steps of His Son Jesus and you will know the Christian Manifesto in your lives and in your behavior.” By living as Jesus lived—rejecting the world’s counsel, submitting to God’s will, and walking in holiness—we become true followers of Christ. The Manifesto is not just a concept; it is a way of life, rooted in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the guidance of God’s Word.

As believers, we are called to adhere to God’s plan, which is revealed to us through the Holy Spirit. Those who seek God earnestly will receive His guidance and direction. “Thank God that you can be aware of His plans and dictates which are not the working of demonically inspired maniacs. Rather, His plans and dictates are revealed by the Holy Spirit to all who will inquire and desire more of Him.” This divine guidance allows us to walk in obedience to God’s will and to live out the Christian Manifesto in our daily lives.

----Summary

The Christian Manifesto is a call to reject the ways of the world and to live in obedience to God. It is a call to follow the example of Jesus Christ, who sought only the will of the Father and walked in perfect submission to God, even unto death. In contrast, those who live in rebellion and sin will face God’s wrath and judgment. There is no escape for those who reject repentance, and their sins will be exposed for all to see. For those who follow Christ, however, there is mercy, grace, and divine guidance through the Holy Spirit, enabling them to live according to God’s will.

----Conclusion

In a world where sin seems to reign, the Christian Manifesto offers a clear path forward for believers. We are called to follow the example of Jesus, to reject the world’s counsel, and to walk in obedience to God’s will. As we live out this Manifesto, we will experience God’s mercy and grace, while the wicked will face His judgment. Let us be steadfast in our faith, knowing that God’s plans for us are good, and that His wrath will be revealed on the rebellious, but His mercy will be poured out on those who are faithful to Him.
