Arise, Soldiers of God
Arise, soldiers of God, and rise out of the foxholes of death. Throw off the uniform of RELIGION and don the uniform of RIGHTEOUSNESS. A new sound is in the land—the sound of God's true soldiers renewing their covenant, sharpening their swords, and preparing for battle. The Lord's Avant-Garde, His Holy Vanguard, is raising the flag of victory. The battle standard is being lifted from the foxholes (churches) of death!
Time for Action
For too long, the Church of Christ (so-called) has been content with making excuses for inactivity. All delays, half-hearted resolutions, and halfway reforms are triumphs for the enemies of the cross of Christ. We deceive ourselves into thinking we're doing something when, in reality, we're doing nothing!
Religion—"churchianity"—is causing death among God's ranks. Like an organic body, death occurs when the body stops renewing itself. When the body of Christ loses its health, it can no longer resist the sin that eats away at it. Fighting among the church segments is like cancer or AIDS attacking the body. Sick and dying soldiers are not fit for front-line duty, nor are the ministers (officers) fit to command the troops. A replacement must be made, and this is what our great Commander, the Lord of Hosts, is doing.
The True Path to Reform
Christians who only try to quit evil habits through a gradual process are only half-hearted in their resolve. A full determination to quit now, to "touch not, taste not, handle not," is more than half the battle to reform. Sin, like cancer or AIDS, will destroy us emotionally, physically, and spiritually if left unchecked.
Arise and Fight!
Why remain in the foxholes of "churchianity"? How long will you hide from the enemy? Arise, take the offensive, and do the duty the Lord commands you! Growth in grace and knowledge is impossible with a rebellious and cowardly heart. You can choose to die in rebellion, but I choose obedience and to advance in the Lord's call.
The Call of the Avant-Garde
Can’t you hear the battle cry? Can’t you see the Lord’s Avant-Garde gathering? A new eldership, a new leadership, is rising. The Lord’s Spirit is stirring the hearts of men, women, boys, and girls. Souls captive to sin and Satan await liberation, and God’s mighty Liberation Army is on the horizon. As the old rebellious church breathes its last breath, a new, glorious Holy Tribal Nation is forming.
A Call to Repentance
Just as in the days of Jeremiah, rebellion has spoiled the ranks of God's people today. The Lord says, "Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls; but they said, we will not walk in it. I set watchmen (elders, leaders) over you, saying, listen to the sound of the trumpet; but they said, we will not listen. Therefore, hear, you nations, and know what is among them. Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words, and have rejected my law." (Jeremiah 6:16-19).
Let us repent today of our rebellion, stubbornness, and evil thoughts. Why die with the rebellious?
