God is calling men and women to enlist in His spiritual army, with His Son, Jesus Christ, as the Commander-in-Chief. This army is not one of destruction but of life, bringing happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life to those who faithfully serve. The enemy, Satan, is constantly on the prowl, seeking to destroy. That's why the time to enlist is now—there's no moment to lose!

Why Enlist?

When you join this army, you’re not just joining a cause—you’re committing to a mission with eternal significance. You’re standing against the darkness, not with weapons of violence, but with love, truth, and righteousness. This army is powerful, militant, and unstoppable, but in the best way possible—it builds up rather than tears down, and it brings the light of Christ into the world.

The Terms of Enlistment

To enlist, you must first believe that Jesus Christ, our Commander-in-Chief, is the Son of God. This is a commitment of trust, as stated in John 5:24, 6:29, and 8:24. You must declare and acknowledge Jesus with your mouth, as Romans 10:9-10 tells us.

Next, you must turn to God in repentance, as instructed in Acts 2:38 and Luke 13:3. Baptism is your next step, symbolizing your entry into this army, as shown in Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, and Galatians 3:26-27.

Prepare for Battle: Arm Yourself for Righteousness

The enemy, Satan, is a fierce and wicked adversary. As soldiers of Christ, we must be fully trained and equipped to defend righteousness. The Apostle Paul provides the battle plan in Ephesians 6:

• 6:10: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might."
• 6:11: "Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
• 6:12: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
• 6:13: "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
• 6:14: "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;"
• 6:15: "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"
• 6:16: "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."
• 6:17: "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
