The Christian Manifesto By Major Frank Materu

----Main Scripture:

“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” – Psalm 24:1

----Introduction

In a world where ideologies and manifestos are being crafted daily by leaders, thinkers, and power structures, it is important for us to remember that the true and eternal manifesto comes from God. The plans and schemes of humankind, though ambitious and often prideful, will ultimately fade away because they are finite. In contrast, God’s plan for humanity is eternal, perfect, and sovereign. In this article, we reflect on the Christian Manifesto—God’s will for the lives of His people and the world at large. We will explore the supremacy of God’s Manifesto over any human inventions and consider our place in His divine purpose.

----The Sovereignty of God's Manifesto

It is crucial to understand that the plans and dreams of man are but fleeting in the eyes of the Almighty. “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1) All that man can imagine is subject to God's will and sovereignty. The schemes that arise from human pride and arrogance are destined to fail because they stand in opposition to the eternal truth of God's kingdom. When the fullness of time comes, the power of God's Manifesto will be revealed in its ultimate glory, setting apart His will from the transient and empty pursuits of human ambitions.

----The Danger of Human Arrogance

In this present age, many grow proud and defiant, imagining that they are greater than God or that He has no active role in the affairs of the world. “When men and women grow proud, they also grow defiant because they will stubbornly resist all indications that they are fools and go on in the drunkenness of pride till they end in a helpless heap.” This mindset leads people into folly, where they continue in sin, ignoring the truth of God’s sovereign will. While human pride may seem powerful in the moment, it is ultimately futile against the will of the Creator. God, in His sovereignty, can deflate the pride of the arrogant and humble them before His holiness.

----Living Under the Christian Manifesto

As believers, we are called to live according to God's Manifesto, a blueprint for righteous living. Unlike the temporary schemes of the world, God's will for His people is rooted in eternity. “Thank Me this day that you do not need to be under the dictates of maniac dictators who are in earthly leadership and see themselves as ruling forever. Be thankful that you can be directed and guided by My Holy Spirit each and every day as you are Mine and I keep you.” (Paraphrased) In the midst of chaos and turmoil, we have the privilege of living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, whose direction leads us to righteousness, peace, and eternal life.

----The Fulfillment of God's Will

God's Manifesto is not just a set of guidelines; it is a divine plan that will come to fruition when His kingdom is established in its fullness. “It is My intention that I will raise up united believers who will be strong and valiant for My desires. I will manifest the Sons and Daughters who are true and faithful and are in obedience to My Divine Intentions.” This promise is a call to the faithful to stand strong in their convictions, trusting that God's plan will unfold before them, bringing them into the fullness of His glory. As believers, we are part of that greater plan and are tasked with living in accordance with God’s will, awaiting His glorious manifestation.

----The Consequences of Rejecting God's Manifesto

For those who reject God’s Manifesto, their fate is sealed. The Manifesto of man may offer temporary success or fleeting pleasures, but it ultimately leads to destruction. “I intend to devastate many who have sought to destroy My true people. They too will end in the darkness and death of their own imaginations and conjectures. All that has been done by the wicked will be returned to them and they will be proven to be the liars that they are.” (Paraphrased) The consequences of defying God’s will are far-reaching, leading not only to temporal downfall but to eternal separation from God.

----Living Out the Truth of God's Manifesto

As we reflect on God’s Manifesto, we must be reminded that we are not to be swayed by the world’s lies or deceptions. “Be glad even this day that you do not need to live in lies, rather you can live in the Truth and see My vengeance upon the wicked both great and small.” (Paraphrased) The truth of God's Manifesto is a call to live with integrity, to reject the falsehoods of the world, and to stand firm in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are to be witnesses of His truth, declaring His glory and serving as examples of His will on earth.

----Summary

The world may have its manifestos, but none compare to the sovereign will of God, revealed through His Manifesto. The human schemes and plans that exalt themselves above God are destined to fail. As believers, we are called to live according to God's eternal plan, resisting the prideful ideologies of the world, and instead walking in humility, guided by the Holy Spirit. The consequences of rejecting God's Manifesto are grave, but the rewards for those who live according to His will are eternal.

----Conclusion

In a world full of distractions, let us remember that God’s Manifesto is the only true and lasting plan. We must align our lives with His divine will, trusting that His kingdom will come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. As we live out our faith, let us remain faithful to His Word, knowing that His Manifesto will stand forever, and we, His people, are part of His glorious plan.
