THE POWER OF HIS BODY AND THE RESURRECTION GLORY By: Major Frank Materu
Key Scripture: John 6:53-54 - "Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.’"

INTRODUCTION
Throughout history, the significance of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice has been emphasized, yet many have failed to grasp the full extent of His provision. While the Blood of Jesus is widely acknowledged for its power in atonement and redemption, the Body of Jesus is often neglected in teachings and practice. However, the Body of Christ holds profound importance, particularly in the manifestation of divine healing and restoration.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ were not just spiritual acts but also physical manifestations of God’s power. His Body was beaten and torn so that humanity could experience healing. His resurrection is evidence of the Father’s authority over sin, sickness, and death. To fully embrace the gift of redemption, believers must partake in both His Blood and His Body, acknowledging the power that His stripes bring in restoration.
This teaching aims to explore the deep revelation of Christ’s Body and the resurrection glory that follows, leading us to walk in divine healing and obedience to God’s eternal wisdom.

THE SACRIFICE OF HIS BODY FOR HEALING
Scripture: Isaiah 53:5 - "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."
The crucifixion of Jesus was not only an act of atonement but also a provision for physical and emotional healing. His Body was brutally beaten, fulfilling the prophecy that by His stripes, we are healed. Many believers focus on the cleansing power of the Blood yet fail to fully embrace the healing power in His Body. Jesus endured pain and suffering so that we could experience restoration in every area of our lives.

THE RESURRECTION POWER IN HIS BODY
Scripture: Romans 8:11 - "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you."
The resurrection of Jesus is the ultimate demonstration of God’s power over death and decay. His Body did not remain in the grave; rather, it was glorified and resurrected to demonstrate the victory of life over death. This same power is available to believers today. If the Spirit of resurrection dwells in us, we are not bound by sickness, disease, or infirmities. Instead, we are called to walk in divine health and restoration, fully manifesting the resurrection power of Christ in our lives.

THE DANGER OF RELIGIOUS RITUAL WITHOUT REVELATION
Scripture: Matthew 15:8-9 - "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules."
Many engage in religious practices without understanding their spiritual significance. They partake in communion without revelation, failing to access the power that comes with it. The Body of Jesus is not to be treated as a mere ritual but as an active instrument of healing and restoration. Those who refuse to embrace this truth risk remaining in bondage to sickness and spiritual stagnation.

THE WRATH OF GOD AGAINST REBELLION
Scripture: Hebrews 10:26-27 - "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God."
God’s mercy and wrath are two sides of His divine nature. In the wilderness, those who rebelled against Moses faced His judgment. Similarly, those who reject the truth of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection power invite His wrath upon themselves. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and it is foolishness to reject His divine provision.
