What Is Coming Depends on You! By Major Frank Materu
----Main Bible Scripture
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" – Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)
----Introduction
In every moment of our lives, we are faced with choices that shape our destiny. The decisions we make today determine where we will spend eternity. As followers of Christ, we are called to choose life in Him and to walk according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Yet, many people are walking in the darkness of their own understanding, guided by sin and the demonic forces of this world. This message challenges us to recognize the power of our choices and to understand the eternal consequences they bring. What is coming in your life depends on the choices you make today.
----The Power of Choice: Life or Death
God has given us the gift of free will. Every day, we choose whether we will walk in His way or follow our own path. Those who choose sin and self-reliance are choosing destruction, while those who choose to walk in God's truth are choosing life. The future is not determined by fate, but by the decisions we make in line with God's will. We must not trust in our own understanding, for it is flawed and darkened by sin. Instead, we must seek the mind of the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to lead us on the path of righteousness.
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12)
----The Freedom Road: Walking in God's Way
God calls us to walk on the Freedom Road—the path of life, righteousness, and salvation. This road is the way of truth, and it leads to eternal life. However, many choose the path of captivity, deceived by demonic forces and the false promises of this world. They are like prisoners in their own minds, believing they are free while they are actually enslaved by sin. God does not want His people to live in captivity; He wants us to be free, walking in His truth and leading others to freedom as well.
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36)
----The Deception of Sin and the Road to Destruction
Sin often appears to offer immediate pleasure or satisfaction, but it ultimately leads to destruction. Those who are driven by their own desires and imaginations are walking in darkness, unaware of the destruction that awaits them. They are like people building their lives on shifting sand, relying on lies rather than the truth of God's word. The leaders of the world who are drunk on power and greed are prime examples of those who have chosen the path of destruction. They are being led by demonic forces, and their kingdoms will ultimately collapse. The kingdom of God, however, will never fall.
----"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalm 9:17)
God's Supreme Power Over the Wicked
Though the wicked may seem to prosper for a time, their reign is temporary. God is the Supreme Power, and He will bring down the rulers of this world who are led by demonic forces. These leaders may appear to be invincible, but they are building on falsehoods, and their kingdoms will crumble. When the world seems to be falling apart and fear grips the hearts of many, remember that God is in control. He is the true power, and He will judge the wicked in His time. The righteous need not fear, for they are in the hands of the Almighty.
"The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect." (Psalm 33:10)
----The Reward for the Righteous
For those who walk in God's way, there is hope, victory, and eternal reward. God promises to equip His people with the strength and anointing they need to stand firm in the face of opposition. His nuclear anointing empowers us to win the spiritual battle and overcome the forces of darkness. We must live with gratitude and trust in God's ability to guide and protect us, knowing that He will keep us on the path of life. While the wicked may face destruction, the righteous will be victorious.
"But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge." (Psalm 94:22)
----Summary
The choices we make today have eternal consequences. We can choose life and walk in God's way, or we can choose death and destruction by following our own path. The road of freedom is found in God's truth, while the road to captivity is found in sin. The leaders of this world who are driven by demonic forces will face destruction, but God will protect and empower His people to overcome. It is essential to seek the mind of the Holy Spirit and make choices that align with God's will. When we choose to follow Him, we are walking the path of eternal life.
----Conclusion
What is coming in your life depends on you and the choices you make. You have the power to choose life and walk in God's way, or you can choose death by rejecting His truth. Let us seek His guidance daily and trust in His sovereignty. The future may be uncertain for the wicked, but for those who are true to God, there is hope, victory, and eternal life. Choose life today, and walk in the freedom that only God can provide.
