THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD\'S MIRACLE POWER IN OUR GENERATION By: Major Frank Materu
Key Scripture: "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for Me?" – Jeremiah 32:27

Introduction
In every age, in every generation, the Living God has proven Himself to be mighty through acts that defy human logic and challenge the limits of natural understanding. These acts, known to us as miracles, are the divine interventions of God to demonstrate His power, mercy, and supremacy over all creation. Today, many have been led to believe that the days of miracles are past—that somehow, God has limited Himself to the pages of Scripture and no longer moves in power among us. But this belief is a deception rooted in theological pride and worldly arrogance. God has not changed. His power remains. His miracles are available to those who call upon Him in truth.

GOD IS NOT DEPENDENT ON MAN OR HIS SYSTEMS
"The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed." – Psalm 2:2
The Living God is neither confined nor dependent on the structures of human governance or technological progress. Earthly leaders may exalt themselves, believing their rule to be eternal, but God laughs at their vain imaginations. While they scheme and strategize, attempting to replace divine order with their own corrupt systems, God alone holds the power to raise up and bring down nations. His miracle power cannot be regulated, voted upon, or cancelled by earthly authorities.
The so-called advancements of man pale in comparison to what God can do in an instant. Human pride in science, medicine, and technology has led many to forsake their faith, trading divine reliance for fragile systems that can be wiped out in a moment. God’s miracles, unlike man’s achievements, are not subject to failure or expiration. He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

THE MERCIFUL MIRACLES THAT BREAK CURSES
"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us…" – Galatians 3:13
The world is plagued by curses—personal, generational, and societal. These curses are often rooted in rebellion against God or the sins of those who came before us. But the Living God, in His mercy, offers a path to freedom through His miracle power. He is not indifferent to the suffering of the multitudes. He is the God who reaches into prison houses of despair and releases the captives.
When God performs miracles, it is not just about the physical healing or the financial breakthrough—it is about breaking the yokes of bondage that keep His people trapped. Miracles are a testament to His mercy, a way for Him to show that He is still with us and still moving in power.

THE DANGER OF PRIDE IN MODERN ADVANCEMENTS
"Professing to be wise, they became fools…" – Romans 1:22
Modern man exalts in knowledge. Universities produce scholars, laboratories birth innovations, and societies marvel at their own intelligence. Yet this pride is an abomination before God. It is foolishness disguised as wisdom. The more humanity distances itself from God in pursuit of self-exaltation, the more it invites destruction.
The arrogance of those who proclaim the end of miracles is rooted in their desire for control. These so-called experts use theology not to glorify God, but to limit Him. They dissect the Word until all that remains is dead doctrine. But God is not limited by their interpretations. His miracle power remains, untainted and unchallenged.

THE DANGERS OF DEPENDING ON THE ARM OF FLESH
"Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength…" – Jeremiah 17:5
Far too many believers, when faced with trials, run to the arm of flesh. They seek help from men rather than from their Creator. They depend on pills, policies, and programs, forgetting the God who created them. The modern church is quick to abandon faith for convenience, forgetting the foundational truth: God is our refuge and strength.
When God’s people look to man for salvation, they forfeit the opportunity to witness divine intervention. It is not wrong to seek help, but when that help replaces trust in God, it becomes idolatry. Our first response in every crisis must be to run to God—to cry out for His miracle power.

THE GOD WHO DELIVERS, DEFENDS, AND AVENGES
"The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent." – Exodus 14:14
The parting of the Red Sea remains one of the greatest demonstrations of God’s miracle power. In that moment, God delivered His people, defended them from their enemies, and avenged the wrongs committed against them. It was not a military strategy, a political alliance, or a scientific explanation—it was divine intervention.
This same power is available today. God still defends His people. He still makes a way where there is no way. The miracle of the Red Sea was not a historical anomaly; it was a revelation of God's unchanging nature. He delights in saving His people through miraculous means to demonstrate His glory.

THE AGE OF MIRACLES IS NOT OVER
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." – Hebrews 13:8
The doctrine that miracles have ceased is one of Satan’s greatest deceptions. It strips believers of faith and leaves them powerless. This teaching, often presented as intellectual theology, is actually spiritual robbery. It steals hope, diminishes expectation, and renders the church impotent in the face of evil.
The truth is simple and eternal: God still performs miracles. The blind see. The deaf hear. The lame walk. The dead rise. Those who believe and call upon the name of the Lord shall witness His power. The problem is not with God, but with unbelief. Where there is faith, miracles follow.

THE INVITATION TO WALK IN MIRACULOUS FAITH
"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." – Mark 9:23
Miracles are not reserved for special people in special times. They are the inheritance of every believer who walks by faith. If we want to see God move in our lives, we must abandon the limitations of human reasoning and embrace the limitless power of God.
Miraculous faith begins when we recognize our need and cry out to God. It grows when we reject the voices of doubt and believe in God’s promises. It is sustained through continual trust and obedience. The more we believe, the more we will see.

Summary
God is still performing miracles today. He is not bound by the opinions of men or the limitations of human systems. His miracle power is released in response to faith, humility, and desperation for His intervention. The age of miracles is not over; it is here for those who believe.

Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father, I come before You acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of Your mercy. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that He rose again on the third day. Lord Jesus, I invite You into my heart. Be my Savior, be my Lord. Forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to live for You. I renounce every work of darkness and choose to follow You from this day forward. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
