THE INESCAPABLE JUDGMENT OF THE WICKED By: Major Frank Materu

Key Scripture: Proverbs 11:21 - "Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free."

Introduction

The times we are living in are perilous, marked by increasing wickedness, corruption, and rebellion against God. Many have hardened their hearts, refusing to repent and instead growing bolder in their evil deeds. They operate without conscience, having given themselves over to demonic possession, leading to their own destruction. While they may seem powerful, boasting in their ways, their fate is sealed—they will die, and their souls will be cast into eternal damnation.

The justice of God is unshakable. He sees the corruption and criminality of the wicked, and none can escape His judgment. Those who oppose Him are marked for destruction, like dead branches destined for the fire. However, those who trust in Him and live righteously are secured under His divine protection. This article explores the inescapable judgment of the wicked, the assurance of God’s justice, and the responsibility of the righteous to stand firm in faith.

The Reality of Divine Judgment

Romans 2:5 - "But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed."

Many people live as though they will never face judgment. They continue in their wickedness, believing they can escape accountability. However, God has already decreed their fate. Every unrepentant sinner is storing up wrath for themselves, awaiting their final sentence in hell. The laughter of the wicked is temporary; their suffering is eternal.

God exposes the deeds of the wicked, bringing them to shame before the world. The proud who once exalted themselves will be humbled. No one can deceive God, for He judges thoroughly. The puppet masters who control the systems of this world, believing they are untouchable, are equally entangled in confusion and destruction. They have built their power on lies and evil, but in the end, their legacy will be one of shame and ruin.

The Corruption of the Wicked and Their Inevitable Fall

Isaiah 29:15 - "Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, ‘Who sees us? Who will know?’"

The wicked assume that their schemes remain hidden, that they can manipulate the world without consequence. They believe they can oppress, deceive, and murder without being held accountable. However, God sees everything, and no evil deed will remain concealed.

The world is filled with corrupt leaders who promise order but only bring chaos. They present themselves as saviors, yet they are incapable of righteousness. Their corruption has reached its peak, and they are locked in their own miseries, awaiting the judgment of God. No reform or transformation can save them because their hearts have been hardened.

The Righteous Must Remain Free and Fearless

John 8:36 - "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

While the wicked are bound in the chains of their own evil, the righteous must remain free in Christ. Those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior cannot be enslaved by fear or the schemes of the ungodly.

The world is filled with terror, and evil rulers seek to instill fear, but the people of God must not be shaken. We are called to stand firm, to rejoice, and to give thanks because our trust is in the eternal, unshakable God. The wicked will fall, but the Kingdom of God remains forever.

The Fate of the Wicked and the Preservation of the Righteous

Psalm 37:9 - "For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land."

God allows the wicked to flourish for a time, but their destruction is certain. They multiply in their iniquity, believing they are unstoppable, but when God's judgment comes, their desperation will be evident. Their fate is sealed, and their downfall will be great.

Meanwhile, the righteous will be preserved. Those who build upon the foundation of Jesus Christ will stand firm. They are not destined for destruction but for eternal life. God sees every act of righteousness and rewards those who remain faithful to Him.

Summary

The judgment of God is inescapable. The wicked may continue in their corruption, believing they are untouchable, but their destruction is inevitable. Their choices have sealed their fate, and they are only waiting for their final punishment. On the other hand, the righteous must remain steadfast, refusing to be intimidated by the evil of this world.

Conclusion

God’s justice is absolute. No wicked person will escape His judgment, and no righteous person will be forsaken. We must remain vigilant, living in faith and obedience, knowing that our hope is in the Lord. The kingdoms of this world will fall, but the Kingdom of God will stand forever.

Salvation Prayer

If you desire to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart, lead me, and help me to live according to Your will. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen."

If you prayed this prayer sincerely, welcome to the family of God! Remain steadfast in Him, study His Word, and seek fellowship with other believers.
