Introduction
In today’s world, fear and terror are spreading at an alarming rate. Many who once felt safe now find themselves trapped in an atmosphere of insecurity, anxiety, and dread. Acts of violence, robbery, murder, and other heinous crimes are increasing, leaving multitudes in a state of constant fear.
Yet, amid this turmoil, God calls His people to trust in Him rather than succumb to the fear that grips the world. The rise of internal terrorism is not accidental—it is a consequence of nations turning away from God, trusting in false securities, and rejecting His sovereignty. However, for those who place their faith in Him, there is hope, peace, and divine protection.
This message explores the spiritual realities behind the rising terror, the futility of human efforts to ensure security, and the unshakable safety that comes from abiding in God.

THE INCREASE OF INTERNAL TERRORISM
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” — Matthew 24:12
As sin increases in the world, so does lawlessness. More people are living in fear as violence escalates, affecting even those who once thought they were untouchable. Society is experiencing widespread chaos, where people are afraid to leave their homes, businesses are looted, and once peaceful neighborhoods are turning into danger zones.
However, this is not happening by accident. The more a nation rejects God, the more it invites terror into its midst. By abandoning the fear of the Lord, people open the door to the fear of man, and in doing so, they bring a snare upon themselves.

THE FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY
“Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” — Psalm 127:1
In response to rising crime and violence, many are turning to extreme security measures—gated communities, advanced surveillance systems, armed guards, and sophisticated weaponry. Yet, despite these efforts, fear continues to grip their hearts. Why? Because physical security cannot protect against the spiritual forces of evil that are at work in the world.
Even those in power, surrounded by armed personnel, live in constant paranoia. They may have wealth, influence, and authority, but none of these can shield them from the judgment of God. Without Him, all their efforts to secure themselves are in vain.

THE ROOT CAUSE: A NATION UNDER DEMONIC INFLUENCE
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” — Ephesians 6:12
One of the greatest deceptions of this age is the failure to recognize the spiritual battle that rages behind the scenes. The surge in violence and crime is not merely a result of bad policies or economic struggles—it is a reflection of a deeper spiritual condition.
When a nation embraces wickedness, it invites demonic oppression. Many are unknowingly under the control of dark forces, driven to commit acts of insanity and terror. The increase of fear, paranoia, and lawlessness is a direct consequence of rejecting God’s authority and allowing the enemy to take dominion.

THE ONLY TRUE SECURITY: TRUSTING IN GOD
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” — Isaiah 26:3
For believers, the answer to the fear and terror in the world is simple: trust in the Lord. While others are overwhelmed by anxiety, those who abide in God’s presence are kept in perfect peace. His promises of protection stand firm, and He sends His angels to guard His faithful ones.
By living in obedience to God and walking in His will, we are shielded from the torment of fear. Instead of placing our confidence in material securities, we must anchor ourselves in the unchanging promises of our Heavenly Father.

Salvation Prayer
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. Pray this prayer with sincerity:
"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I repent of my sins and turn away from my old ways. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to walk in Your truth. I trust You with my life and my eternity. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen."
