Introduction
In the times we are living in, deception has become rampant, and many have chosen to follow their own ways instead of the truth of God. People reject the light and choose blindness, deceiving themselves and others for personal gain. False teachers and preachers have risen, leading multitudes astray while claiming to be messengers of God. These blind guides misinterpret God's judgments and twist His word to justify sin. In this message, we will explore the dangers of spiritual blindness, the consequences of following blind guides, and the need for true repentance and obedience to God's word.

The Choice to Walk in Blindness
John 3:19 - "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
God never intended for people to live in blindness, yet many willingly choose darkness over the light. The reason for this is their love for sin and their own ways. Instead of accepting the truth and repenting, they cling to their own understanding, rejecting divine guidance. The preference for blindness is a result of pride, rebellion, and self-righteousness, which ultimately leads to destruction.

False Teachers and Deceivers
2 Timothy 4:3-4 - "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
Many religious leaders today exploit the ignorance and spiritual blindness of people for their personal benefit. Instead of preaching repentance and holiness, they preach prosperity and false love, deceiving their followers. They twist the truth and interfere with God’s judgments by offering false hope to those who are under divine correction. Their focus is not on saving souls but on increasing their own wealth and influence.

The Consequences of Following Blind Guides
Isaiah 9:16 - "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed."
When people choose to follow blind leaders, they share in their destruction. Those who reject God’s truth and follow lies will ultimately face judgment. Just as the blind leading the blind results in both falling into a ditch, so do those who follow deceivers end up in spiritual ruin. It is crucial to seek and follow true shepherds who preach God’s unaltered word and lead people into righteousness.

God’s Judgment on the Wicked
Romans 1:18 - "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness."
God’s wrath is poured out upon those who walk in wickedness and deceive others. He will not allow sin to go unpunished, and His judgment will be severe upon false teachers and those who refuse to repent. The blind guides who mislead people for personal gain will face eternal damnation along with those they have deceived.

True Repentance and Obedience to God
Acts 3:19 - "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord."
God calls His people to repentance. Those who have been deceived must turn away from falsehood and seek His truth. True repentance requires humility, confession, and obedience to God’s word. Only by walking in righteousness can one avoid the fate of those who follow blind leaders.

Summary
Spiritual blindness is a dangerous condition that leads to destruction. Many choose darkness over light because they love sin more than the truth. False teachers exploit the spiritually blind for their own gain, leading many into error. However, God’s judgment will fall upon both the deceivers and those who follow them. True repentance and obedience to God’s word are the only ways to avoid the consequences of following blind guides.

Prayer of Salvation
Jesus, please help me! I know I’m a sinner, and I can’t save myself. But I believe that You died on the cross for me, for my sins. I believe You can give me a new life. I’m truly sorry for everything I’ve done wrong. Please forgive me! Wash me clean with the blood You shed for me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to follow You. I choose to turn away from every sin I know of, and I commit my life to You. Please, Jesus, baptize me with the Holy Spirit, and let me speak in new spiritual tongues as a sign of Your power in my life. Thank You for saving me, for setting me free from sin, from the ways of the world, and from the enemy’s grip. Thank You, Jesus! Amen.
