Introduction
When God created humanity, His intentions were pure and filled with goodness. He designed a world of mercy, joy, and righteousness, where humanity could thrive under His divine care. However, the entrance of sin marred this perfect design, bringing death, destruction, and separation from God. This teaching explores how sin disrupted God's plan and how we can return to His original intent by walking in truth and rejecting lies.

God's Original Plan for Humanity
From the beginning, God’s purpose for humanity was to live in harmony with Him and enjoy the blessings of His creation. "Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good." (Genesis 1:31) This divine goodness encompassed a life of righteousness, peace, and eternal communion with the Creator. Yet, humanity’s choice to disobey introduced sin, altering the trajectory of God’s perfect plan.

The Consequences of Sin
Sin is not a minor fault; it is a rebellion against God that leads to death and separation. As the scripture says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) Sin breeds lies, pride, and rebellion, drawing people away from the truth of God’s word. In our generation, the rejection of God’s ways has unleashed His righteous wrath, as He allows the consequences of sin to unfold.

Rebellion and the Wrath of God
Today, many have chosen to walk in rebellion, rejecting God’s truth and embracing lies. This rebellion invites God’s wrath, as He seeks to awaken humanity to their need for repentance. "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness." (Romans 1:18) God’s anger is not arbitrary but a response to humanity’s rejection of His mercy and guidance.

Choosing Life Over Death
God’s desire is not to condemn but to save. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." (John 3:17) By choosing to walk in obedience and truth, we can escape the destruction of sin and embrace the abundant life God offers. This requires humility, repentance, and a commitment to follow His ways.

The Call to Repentance
Repentance is the gateway to restoration. God continuously calls His people to turn from their wicked ways and seek Him. "If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14) He is faithful to forgive and restore those who genuinely seek His mercy.

Living in the Truth of God
Walking in God’s truth requires daily submission to His word and a rejection of the lies that lead to destruction. "Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth." (John 17:17) A life anchored in God’s truth brings peace, joy, and the assurance of eternal life with Him.
