DO NOT QUESTION GOD\'S WAY By Major Frank Materu

Key Scripture:

“Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited.” Jeremiah 17:5-6

Introduction:

In today’s world, many people rely on their own strength, knowledge, and abilities to achieve success. However, God says that trusting in man and relying on our own ways will not lead to lasting success. This is a call to look to God and walk in His ways, for His ways are perfect. We must not question God’s way because He is the giver of life and knows what is best for us.

1. Do Not Reject Trusting in God:

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

God wants us to trust in Him for everything. We should not look to man or place our trust in our own abilities or knowledge. He wants us to have complete faith in Him, and when we do, we will receive everything we need according to His will.

2. Pray According to God’s Will:

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

When we pray, we must remember that our prayers will be more powerful when they are aligned with God’s will. Pray so that His kingdom will advance, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

3. Focus on Pleasing God, Not People:

“For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10

Our lives should be focused on seeking to please God, not on gaining the approval of people. When we please God, He will bring peace and success to our lives.

4. Faithfulness in Trials and Suffering:

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

God allows suffering to teach us, refine us, and bring us closer to His will. In times of pain and trial, we should not think that God is against us, but rather trust that He is using these circumstances to shape us more into His likeness.

5. God’s Promises are Everlasting:

“God is not a man, that He should lie; nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

God always fulfills His promises. He does not lie. Therefore, we should hold onto His promises in faith, knowing that He will do exactly what He has said.

Conclusion:

Do not question God’s way, for His ways lead to life and blessing. We must trust in Him for everything and live according to His will. When we place our lives in His hands, we will be like trees planted by rivers of water, flourishing and bearing fruit. God will never fail to fulfill His promises to those who sincerely seek Him.
