Throughout biblical history, God consistently demonstrated that His plans unfold according to His perfect timetable. He is never late, never early, and never confused regarding what should happen and when it should happen. His wisdom transcends human understanding, and His timing is always connected to His eternal purposes.
Unfortunately, one of the greatest struggles among believers is learning to trust God's timing. Many desire God's promises, but they do not want to wait for God's appointed season. Others become impatient when circumstances do not change as quickly as they expected. Some attempt to force doors open that God has not opened, while others delay obedience when God has clearly spoken. In both cases, spiritual problems arise because human will has replaced divine guidance.
The Bible repeatedly reveals the consequences of both obedience and rebellion. Those who trusted God's timing experienced blessing, promotion, protection, and fulfillment of divine purpose.
