Introduction:

In this message, the Living God warns of His imminent retributive judgment on the mockers and scoffers who have elevated themselves with pride, mockery, and contempt toward Him and His people. While they have reveled in their arrogance, scorning the faithful, God promises to bring about a just reckoning for their actions. The times are filled with prideful rebellion, but in the end, no one escapes the wrath of a holy God. This lesson will explore the reality of God's judgment, the mockery of the wicked, and how believers should respond amidst these turbulent times.

The Pride and Arrogance of the Mockers

“For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.” – Isaiah 63:4

Pride has led many to mock God and His people, boasting in their superiority and mocking the faith of those who trust in God. The proud think themselves invincible, but God warns that their arrogance will be met with His judgment. They mock the truth, but God will not be mocked forever. Their payback will be the very mockery they have shown toward God’s people, and they will find themselves utterly humbled before the Almighty.

The Retributive Mockery of God

“For the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.” – Exodus 20:7

Retributive mockery is God’s answer to those who have scorned Him. He will allow the wicked to feel the weight of their own folly, showing them that their pride is but foolishness. Those who have plotted and schemed against God's people will find that the retribution they face will be more than they can bear. Their lives will be marked by the very mockery they have sown, and they will know the burning anger of God’s justice.

The Finality of God’s Judgment

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” – Hebrews 10:31

There is no escaping the judgment of God. For those who mock Him, they face eternal consequences—first in this life, and ultimately in the afterlife. The wicked will be mocked by the very powers they once scorned. Their actions will not go unpunished. God’s judgment is final and eternal. His retribution is both just and deserved, and it will be executed in His perfect timing.

A Call to Remain Steadfast

“Do not be weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

In these times of mockery and ridicule, believers are called to remain steadfast. The mockers may think they are winning, but God’s timing is perfect. He will bring justice at the appointed time. In the face of persecution, we are to continue in faith, trusting that God sees all things and will vindicate His people. Let us not grow weary in doing good but continue to stand firm in our faith.

The Insanity of Reprobate Leaders and the World’s Madness

“They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” – Romans 1:25

The world is descending into madness, led by corrupt and reprobate leaders who mock God and His ways. These leaders have turned their backs on truth and have chosen to follow the path of destruction. Their decisions have led to chaos, violence, and perversion. Yet, we must not be afraid of what is happening around us, for God remains supreme. His judgment will come, and those who have led nations into destruction will be held accountable.
