Introduction
God’s divine guidance and mercy are essential for the believer’s journey. Many times, people get distracted by their circumstances, allowing negativity and fear to dictate their actions instead of keeping their focus on God. However, Scripture teaches that when we remain steadfast in God’s path, He leads us in the way we are meant to go. This message explores how divine guidance, mercy, and submission to God's will bring true peace and security, even amidst trials and tribulations.

Keeping Your Vision on God
Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
When believers take their focus off God, they become vulnerable to deception, fear, and discouragement. The world presents overwhelming challenges, but God calls us to keep our eyes on Him. As seen in the example of Joshua, he boldly declared that he and his household would serve the Lord. Such commitment ensures divine guidance and protection.

God’s Mercy is New Every Morning
Lamentations 3:22-23 - "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
Despite the wickedness that surrounds us, God continuously pours out His loving-kindness. However, those who harden their hearts against Him often fail to recognize His mercy. It is crucial to remain in an attitude of gratitude, acknowledging His daily provisions and blessings.

Avoiding the Deception of the World
2 Corinthians 4:4 - "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
Many are deceived by worldly wisdom and pride, failing to recognize their need for God. The rulers of this world assume they are in control, but only God reigns supreme. Humility before the Lord ensures that His people remain under His protection and guidance.

God’s Justice and Wrath Against the Wicked
Romans 1:18 - "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness."
While God is merciful, He is also just. Those who refuse to acknowledge Him will face judgment. The wicked may seem powerful, but their downfall is inevitable. The believer must remain steadfast, trusting that God's justice will prevail.
