INTRODUCTION

In a world filled with chaos, injustice, and unrighteous leadership, many seek peace but find none. The pursuit of justice is often corrupted by human selfishness, greed, and wickedness. Yet, God declares that He alone is the source of perfect justice and perfect peace. Those who trust in Him will not be troubled by the instability of the world but will be kept in His divine peace. This sermon explores the necessity of relying on God’s justice rather than the world’s, understanding that His peace is available to those who remain steadfast in Him.

GOD’S JUSTICE SURPASSES HUMAN JUDGMENT

Psalm 89:14 – "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you."

The justice of God is perfect, untainted by corruption or bribery. Unlike earthly judges who often rule unfairly, God's judgments are true and righteous. Many people suffer from unjust verdicts in human courts, but no one who puts their trust in God will be ultimately condemned.

THE WORLD IS RULED BY THE UNRIGHTEOUS

Proverbs 29:2 – "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."

Many world leaders are led by their own lust for power rather than the wisdom of God. Their decisions are driven by greed, corruption, and pride, bringing suffering upon the people they govern. But God is not blind to these injustices. He will hold every leader accountable for the pain they have inflicted upon their people.

SEEK GOD’S WISDOM, NOT THE WORLD’S

James 3:17 – "But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere."

God’s wisdom is superior to human wisdom. While men use weapons and force to gain power, those who seek divine wisdom find a greater strength—one that brings peace and security in God’s presence. The wisdom of God will lead His people in a plain path, keeping them from destruction.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF TRUSTING IN WORLDLY JUSTICE

Isaiah 30:1-3 – "Woe to the obstinate children," declares the Lord, "to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin."

Time and time again, history has shown that when people trust in human systems rather than God, they face oppression, captivity, and sorrow. Those who reject God’s justice and rely on worldly leaders are destined for disappointment and destruction.

GOD WILL JUDGE THE WICKED

Ecclesiastes 12:14 – "For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil."

No wicked ruler or corrupt judge will escape God’s judgment. Though they may seem to prosper now, their actions are seen by the Almighty, and they will be repaid according to their deeds. The justice they denied others will be returned to them in full measure.

SUMMARY

God is the only source of perfect justice and perfect peace. Human systems are flawed, often driven by corruption and selfish ambition. Those who trust in the world’s justice will be disappointed, but those who put their faith in God will be kept in His peace. God’s wisdom surpasses human understanding, and those who seek it will be led in righteousness.

CONCLUSION

The world may appear to be in turmoil, but God is still in control. He sees every injustice, and His judgment is sure. His people must not fear the wicked rulers of this world but trust in His perfect justice. He alone grants peace that cannot be shaken by worldly events. Those who abide in Him will walk in confidence, knowing that He is their refuge and stronghold.
