Introduction
Truth is the foundation of righteousness, and any deviation from it leads to destruction. When men and women pervert the truth, they open the doors to perversion in all aspects of life. The world today is filled with immorality, deception, and ungodliness because the truth has been twisted, ignored, and replaced with lies. God calls His people to stand firm in the truth, declare it boldly, and live by it. We must resist the temptation to alter God’s word for convenience or personal gain, for the truth alone brings freedom. This sermon explores the dangers of perverting the truth, the importance of loving the truth, and the power of God to raise up a righteous generation despite the corruption of the world.

Perverting Truth Leads to Perversion
Romans 1:25 - "They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen."
When people reject God’s truth and twist it to fit their desires, perversion is inevitable. The world is in turmoil because of lies and deceit that have replaced righteousness. The fire of lust, immorality, and corruption is raging because the truth has been abandoned. Even when people do not intend to promote perversion, their rejection of truth leads to it. As believers, we must stand against this deception, holding firmly to the Word of God, for only truth can set people free from the bondage of sin.

Be a Lover of the Truth
2 Thessalonians 2:10 - "They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved."
Loving the truth means embracing God’s Word in its entirety, even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular. When we love the truth, we will walk in freedom, be guided by the light, and have strength to stand against deception. Those who love the truth will not be easily swayed by false doctrines, worldly ideologies, or misleading voices. The truth is the foundation of life, and only those who embrace it will be sustained by God. Let us seek to be lovers of the truth so that we may remain steadfast in our faith.

God Will Prevail Despite Evil Men
Psalm 37:12-13 - "The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming."
In a world filled with wickedness, it is easy to feel discouraged by the power of evil. However, we must remember that God is in control. He has faced wickedness before and has always prevailed. No matter how strong the enemy may seem, God is greater. Instead of focusing on the works of the enemy, we must focus on the power of God. He will continue to raise up a righteous generation, despite the corruption of the world. The plans of the wicked will ultimately fail, and righteousness will be restored.

God Raises Up People Who Are True
Isaiah 1:9 - "Unless the Lord Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah."
Throughout history, God has preserved a faithful remnant who remain true to Him. Despite the perversion and wickedness in the world, God will always raise up a people who are committed to truth and righteousness. We must not be discouraged by the corruption around us but rather trust that God is still at work. He will bring down false prophets, deceitful leaders, and those who twist His word for personal gain. Let us be among those who stand firm, keeping the truth alive in a dark world.

New Life in Him
2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
No matter how deep the world has fallen into sin, God’s grace abounds even more. He is in the business of restoration, bringing new life to those who have been ruined by sin. This is a time of renewal, a time of revival, a time when God will bring forth His people in righteousness. The enemy may appear strong, but God is stronger. He will make a way of deliverance and salvation for all who turn to Him. As believers, we must be filled with joy, knowing that God is victorious and that He will continue to move mightily.

Salvation Prayer
If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. Pray this prayer with sincerity:
"Lord Jesus, I come before You today, recognizing that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again for my salvation. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior, guide me in Your truth, and help me to walk in Your ways. Thank You for Your love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
