DON\'T DOUBT, BELIEVE AND RECEIVE! By Major Frank Materu
Key Scripture: Mark 11:24 – "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

INTRODUCTION
Doubt is a destructive force that hinders believers from receiving the full manifestation of God’s promises. The Word of God is clear that faith, not doubt, is the key to unlocking the supernatural. Many people pray and yet allow doubt to creep in, preventing them from experiencing the miraculous power of God. As believers, we are called to walk by faith, not by sight, and to trust fully in God’s ability to do the impossible. This message is a call to reject doubt, embrace faith, and witness the mighty works of God in our lives.

DOUBT HINDERS FAITH
James 1:6-7 – "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord."
Doubt creates instability in the heart of a believer. Those who doubt are like waves tossed back and forth, unsure of whether God will fulfill His promises. Such instability prevents them from receiving what they ask for in prayer. Faith, on the other hand, is unwavering confidence in God’s ability. When we approach God, we must do so with full assurance that He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we can ask or think.

FAITH UNLOCKS THE SUPERNATURAL
Hebrews 11:6 – "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
Faith is the foundation of a victorious Christian life. It is through faith that we tap into the supernatural power of God. Jesus demonstrated this during His ministry, healing the sick, raising the dead, and performing mighty miracles. He promised that those who believe in Him would do even greater works. As believers, we must step out in faith and trust in the miracle-working power of God to manifest in our lives.

REFUSE TO BE CONTROLLED BY UNBELIEF
Mark 9:23-24 – "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."
Unbelief is one of the greatest obstacles to experiencing the fullness of God’s power. It limits what God can do in our lives because it contradicts the very nature of faith. Even in times of struggle, we must choose to trust God and ask Him to help us overcome our doubts. The more we exercise our faith, the stronger it becomes, and the more we will see the manifestation of God’s promises.

THE POWER OF FAITH IN ACTION
John 14:12 – "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
Jesus performed many miracles, but He also promised that those who believe in Him would do even greater works. This means that faith is not just for receiving but also for demonstrating God’s power in the world. The supernatural is real, and it is meant to be a part of the believer’s daily life. When we act in faith, we see healings, deliverances, and mighty breakthroughs that testify of God’s glory.

THE DANGER OF SPIRITUAL COMPLACENCY
Revelation 3:16 – "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."
Many people claim to be believers but lack the fire and passion for the things of God. A lukewarm spirit is dangerous because it leads to compromise and spiritual stagnation. Those who are complacent in their faith will not experience the full manifestation of God’s power. God is looking for those who will be fully committed to Him, standing firm in faith and walking in His authority.

It is time for believers to rise up, reject doubt, and walk in the fullness of their calling.
