In this season, many nations are experiencing a state of desolation due to their rejection of God’s ways. This desolation is not only a personal condition but a collective one, affecting entire peoples, tribes, and nations. The glory of God, which is meant to dwell in the hearts of His people, has departed from many because of sin, and the question remains: Has the glory departed from your life, or is it being returned?

The State of Desolation
The people who are far from God and trust in lies instead of His truth are experiencing a deep emptiness. Their souls are desolate, unable to find true fulfillment, no matter how much they pursue worldly pleasures or power. Nations that have turned their back on God are facing the consequences of their choices. It is a time of great confusion and instability, where the godless have seized control, and those who once professed faith are distracted by worldly pursuits.
“Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the Lord!” – Isaiah 31:1

A Call for Repentance and Restoration
God is calling His people to return to Him. He does not want us to live in a state of desolation or estrangement. The return of His glory begins with repentance, and those who desire to see His glory restored must become warriors for righteousness. They are to stand boldly and fearlessly in declaring His truth, even in the face of persecution. It is crucial to remain focused on God and His Word, especially in these turbulent times. The enemy uses politics, media, and worldly distractions to keep God’s people off course. The pursuit of power, popularity, or the comforts of the world can lead to a departure from God’s glory. We are warned not to be consumed with the affairs of the world, as these distractions can lead to spiritual desolation. Our true calling is to live according to His righteousness and be constantly in prayer.

Living in the Glory of God
Those who choose to remain steadfast in God will live in His glory. This glory is not a fleeting feeling but a constant presence that sustains and empowers His people. The glory of God is returned through faith, repentance, and steadfastness. Those who remain in right relationship with God will not be left in desolation. Instead, they will experience His presence in a powerful way and will be equipped to declare His truth to the world.
