Introduction
Throughout the history of humanity, civilizations have risen with power and later disappeared into ruin. Great rulers once believed their authority would endure forever, yet time reduced them to dust. Empires that once controlled nations eventually collapsed, and human philosophies once celebrated as “ultimate truth” faded into irrelevance. Despite all these changes, one reality remains eternal and unshaken: the Word of God.
The eternal Word of God stands above every human opinion, every political system, every scientific argument, and every religious deception. God’s truth does not depend upon human approval in order to remain true. Whether people believe or reject Him, His Word remains forever established. This is one of the most serious realities humanity must understand.
The message presented in this lesson reveals the certainty of divine truth, the danger of pride and rebellion against God, the eternal consequences of rejecting Jesus Christ, and the glorious hope available to all who believe in Him. It also exposes the deception of false spiritual messengers who exploit people through greed and manipulation rather than leading souls to repentance and salvation.
Modern society has increasingly become hostile toward biblical truth. Many openly mock Christianity, ridicule believers, and deny the existence of God. Others elevate human intelligence, wealth, fame, political influence, or scientific advancement above divine authority. Yet regardless of humanity’s rebellion, God remains sovereign and His declarations remain eternally true.
At the center of all history stands Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came into the world to save sinners through His sacrificial death and resurrection. Through His shed Blood, forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life are offered to all who repent and believe.
This lesson calls believers to remain steadfast in truth, spiritually discerning, faithful in suffering, and committed to spreading the Gospel to a lost and dying world. It also warns humanity that rejecting Christ leads to eternal separation from God, while accepting Him leads to everlasting life in Heaven.

The Eternal Authority of God’s Word
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”
— Isaiah 40:8 (KJV)

The eternal nature of God’s Word is one of the foundational truths of Christianity. Everything in the physical world is temporary. Human life is temporary. Nations are temporary. Wealth is temporary. Physical beauty fades, strength diminishes, and earthly glory disappears with time. However, the Word spoken by God remains forever.
From the very beginning, creation itself came into existence through divine speech. God spoke light into darkness, order into chaos, and life into existence. Therefore, His Word carries absolute authority because it originates from the Creator Himself.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
— John 1:1 (KJV)
Many people in the world reject biblical truth because they trust in human reasoning more than divine revelation. Some assume intellectual achievement gives them authority to deny God. Others become spiritually blinded by pride, wealth, political power, or worldly success. Yet none of these can overturn eternal truth.
The rejection of God’s Word does not weaken God’s authority; instead, it reveals humanity’s rebellion. Those who mock Jesus Christ often imagine themselves wise, enlightened, and superior to believers. However, Scripture warns that worldly wisdom without God becomes foolishness.
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”
— Romans 1:22 (KJV)
The Word of God exposes the sinful condition of humanity and reveals mankind’s desperate need for redemption. Every individual has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. No person can save themselves through morality, religion, education, or good works alone.
Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
— John 14:6 (KJV)
This truth remains unchanged despite the opinions of the world.

The Danger of Pride and Rebellion Against God
“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
— Proverbs 16:18 (KJV)

Pride is one of the greatest spiritual dangers facing humanity. Pride deceives individuals into believing they are independent from God and accountable only to themselves. It blinds people from recognizing their need for repentance and salvation.
Throughout history, many rulers and leaders imagined themselves invincible. Kings, emperors, dictators, and political leaders believed their authority would continue forever. Yet all eventually faced sickness, weakness, aging, and death.
Human power cannot prevent mortality.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
— Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)
Many people spend their lives pursuing earthly greatness while neglecting their eternal souls. Some openly blaspheme God, ridicule believers, and oppose biblical truth. Yet Scripture clearly teaches that God resists the proud.
“God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
— James 4:6 (KJV)
The tragedy of pride is that it leads people away from repentance. Instead of humbling themselves before God, they continue in rebellion until judgment overtakes them.
Hell is not merely symbolic language; it is the eternal consequence awaiting those who reject God’s salvation through Jesus Christ.
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
— Revelation 20:15 (KJV)
God does not desire humanity’s destruction. His desire is that people repent and receive eternal life. However, He will not force salvation upon anyone. Every individual must choose whether to accept or reject Jesus Christ.

The Fellowship of Christ’s Sufferings
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings.”
— Philippians 3:10 (KJV)

Many people assume Christianity guarantees comfort and earthly ease. However, Jesus taught that true discipleship involves sacrifice, endurance, and spiritual warfare.
Jesus Himself suffered rejection, betrayal, false accusations, humiliation, and crucifixion. Therefore, those who follow Him should not expect universal acceptance from the world.
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
— 2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV)
True believers often face criticism because they stand for righteousness in a morally corrupted world. Some are mocked as foolish, emotional, extreme, or fanatical simply because they believe the Bible and follow Christ faithfully.
Yet suffering for Christ produces spiritual maturity and deeper intimacy with God. Through trials, believers learn dependence upon the Holy Spirit and become spiritually strengthened.
Even the death of Jesus Christ could not stop the spread of divine truth. Religious leaders believed crucifixion would silence Him forever, but His resurrection became the greatest victory in human history.
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.”
— Matthew 28:6 (KJV)
Because Christ conquered death, believers have eternal hope regardless of earthly suffering. The enemies of truth may oppose the Gospel temporarily, but they cannot destroy the Kingdom of God.

The Deception of False Messengers and Greed
“For the love of money is the root of all evil.”
— 1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV)
________________________________________
One of the most dangerous forms of spiritual deception in modern times is the rise of false messengers who manipulate people through greed and covetousness. Instead of preaching repentance, holiness, and salvation, many focus entirely on material prosperity and financial gain.
These false teachers often convince vulnerable people that giving money guarantees miracles, riches, or divine favor. Some followers become financially devastated after surrendering everything to manipulative leaders.
Jesus Himself warned believers concerning false prophets.
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
— Matthew 7:15 (KJV)
True servants of God do not exploit people financially. Genuine ministry seeks the salvation of souls and the spiritual growth of believers rather than personal enrichment.
At the same time, Scripture teaches believers to remain faithful stewards before God. Faithfulness in giving reflects obedience, gratitude, and trust in the Lord. However, giving must flow from sincere love rather than fear or manipulation.
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)
The Holy Spirit convicts believers concerning generosity and obedience. Genuine ministers rely upon God’s truth rather than emotional pressure or condemnation.

God’s Desire for the Salvation of Souls
“The Lord is… not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
— 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)
________________________________________
Despite humanity’s rebellion, God continues extending mercy to the world. His desire is that people from every tribe, nation, and generation receive salvation through Jesus Christ.
The world is filled with spiritually lost individuals who desperately need the Gospel. Many have never heard the true message of salvation, while others have encountered distorted versions of Christianity that misrepresent God’s character.
Jesus Christ died for sinners because of God’s love for humanity.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
— John 3:16 (KJV)
Believers are called to participate in God’s mission by proclaiming truth, praying for souls, supporting genuine ministry, and living holy lives before the world.
The urgency of evangelism cannot be ignored because human life is temporary and eternity is real. Every day countless individuals enter eternity without salvation.
Therefore the Church must remain spiritually awake and committed to preaching the Gospel without compromise.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
— Mark 16:15 (KJV)
