INTRODUCTION
In the world today, there is a growing trend of people rejecting divine wisdom and embracing foolishness. Many have become wise in their own eyes, rejecting the correction and instruction of God. The consequence of this rejection is evident in the confusion, turmoil, and destruction that characterize society. Humanity was created to be in fellowship with God, but when people abandon Him, they invite darkness into their lives. As believers, we are called to seek the wisdom of God and reject the foolishness that the world offers.
The Bible warns us that those who refuse instruction become spiritually dull, while those who humble themselves and accept God's guidance grow in knowledge and truth. This teaching explores the contrast between divine wisdom and human folly, emphasizing the importance of remaining in God's presence and avoiding the deception of the enemy.

THE DANGER OF REJECTING GOD’S WISDOM
Proverbs 3:7 - "Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil."
One of the greatest dangers in today’s world is self-reliance without God. Many people assume they are intelligent and capable of making decisions without divine guidance. However, when individuals reject God's wisdom, they expose themselves to deception and destruction. The world is full of voices promoting human wisdom while rejecting God's truth, but the Bible reminds us that true wisdom comes only from the Lord.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF FOOLISHNESS
Romans 1:21-22 - "For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools."
The rejection of God leads to a life of confusion, turmoil, and ultimate destruction. We see this manifested in the moral and spiritual decline of society. The increase in deception, addiction, and rebellion against God’s order are all signs of foolishness reigning in the hearts of men. When people choose sin over righteousness, they separate themselves from God’s presence and fall into greater bondage.

THE TRAP OF WORLDLY WISDOM
1 Corinthians 3:19 - "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: ‘He catches the wise in their craftiness.’"
Many believe that education, technology, and scientific advancements make them superior. While knowledge is beneficial, it is useless if it does not lead to a reverence for God. The world’s wisdom often promotes pride, self-sufficiency, and rebellion against God's order. The rise of moral relativism, gender confusion, and secular ideologies are proof that human wisdom apart from God leads to chaos.

GOD’S WISDOM BRINGS LIFE AND PEACE
James 3:17 - "But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere."
In contrast to worldly wisdom, God’s wisdom leads to peace, righteousness, and spiritual prosperity. When believers seek God’s counsel and obey His word, they experience divine protection, guidance, and blessings. True wisdom is found in submission to God, living in obedience, and walking in His righteousness.

HUMILITY: THE PATHWAY TO TRUE WISDOM
Proverbs 11:2 - "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."
To receive God’s wisdom, we must first humble ourselves before Him. Those who are prideful and refuse correction remain in darkness, but those who submit to God’s word grow in understanding. A teachable heart is essential for spiritual growth, as it allows the Holy Spirit to lead and instruct us in the ways of righteousness.

SUMMARY
Rejecting God’s wisdom results in spiritual blindness and destruction, while seeking His guidance leads to life and peace. The world offers an illusion of knowledge, but true understanding comes from fearing the Lord and obeying His word. In a time where deception is rampant, believers must remain firm in God’s truth and reject the falsehoods of the enemy.

CONCLUSION
God desires His people to walk in wisdom and not be deceived by the world. Those who acknowledge Him and follow His ways will be kept safe, while those who reject Him will face the consequences of their folly. In a world filled with confusion, the church must remain a beacon of light, standing firm in the wisdom of God.

PRAYER OF SALVATION
Heavenly Father, I come before You today, acknowledging that I have lived in my own wisdom rather than seeking Yours. I recognize that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that He rose again on the third day. I surrender my life to You and ask Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, guide me in Your truth, and help me to walk in Your wisdom every day. Thank You for Your grace, mercy, and love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
