Introduction

God’s intention for those who are born again is not just to escape sin but to step into a life of divine blessing and fulfillment. Those who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ are called to embrace their spiritual birthright and live in obedience to God’s principles. It is never His will that His children should fall back into the captivity of sin and prove themselves unworthy of His grace. Instead, He desires that they walk in righteousness and receive the full inheritance of His blessings.

Just as earthly parents have great hopes for their children, our Heavenly Father has even greater plans for those who are born of incorruptible seed. However, the reality of this world is that many children are born into spiritual darkness due to generational curses. Yet, God, in His mercy, offers a new beginning to all who choose to walk in His ways.

This article explores the divine calling to live as children of God, the dangers of turning away from His path, and the blessings that come with obedience. Through understanding the power of spiritual birthright, believers can make informed choices that align with God’s will and secure their destiny of blessings.

Born to Be Blessed, Not Cursed

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God’s original intention for mankind has always been to bless, not to curse. He desires that every child born into this world experiences His goodness and favor. However, sin has brought corruption, causing many to live under generational curses. Many children are born to parents who themselves are under bondage, and as a result, these children inherit lives filled with suffering and turmoil.

Nevertheless, God's grace is sufficient. Through salvation in Christ, anyone can break free from these curses and step into the life of divine blessing. True blessing comes not from material wealth but from living in alignment with God’s purpose.

The Responsibility of Spiritual Choices

Deuteronomy 30:19

"This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live."

Every individual is faced with choices that determine their spiritual destiny. Those who are born again must make conscious decisions to remain in God’s will. While parents can provide a foundation of righteousness, each person must choose to embrace or reject that foundation.

Many fall into deception, believing that worldly pleasures offer a better life. This leads them away from God’s covering and into spiritual destruction. However, those who choose to obey God’s principles will continue to walk in His blessings.

The Danger of Turning Back to Sin

Luke 9:62

"Jesus replied, ‘No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.’"

Turning back to sin after experiencing salvation is a dangerous path. The story of the prodigal son illustrates the emptiness and destruction that come from abandoning God’s ways. Many who walk away from righteousness believe they are missing out on something in the world, only to find themselves in spiritual starvation and suffering.

The devil’s plan is to deceive, kill, and destroy. He offers temporary pleasures that lead to eternal damnation. Those who flirt with sin risk losing their spiritual inheritance. It is crucial to reject the temptations of the enemy and remain steadfast in the faith.

God’s Mercy and the Power of Redemption

Isaiah 1:18

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

Despite the reality of sin, God’s mercy remains available to all who seek Him. Even those who have wandered far can return and receive full restoration. God delights in seeing His children repent and live righteously.

Salvation is a gift that comes with responsibilities. Those who accept it must live in gratitude, obedience, and dedication to God’s Kingdom. They are not to live selfishly but to share the light with others who are still in darkness.
