Introduction

In every generation, there are seasons of darkness when wickedness seems to rule and terror grips the hearts of many. The world appears to be in chaos, and the righteous may feel overwhelmed by the increasing evil around them. However, it is not the wicked who determine the future—it is God Almighty. He alone holds all power, and He has promised to arise and scatter His enemies. In times of uncertainty, believers must not submit to fear but must remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God will reveal His mighty power.

Do Not Fear the Darkness of This Age

Isaiah 41:10

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

The present times may seem troubling, filled with injustice, corruption, and oppression. However, believers are not meant to live in fear. Many people, even Christians, are deceived into obeying laws and regulations that contradict God’s divine law. This is not because they agree with wickedness, but because they are afraid. Fear is a tool of the enemy, used to silence and subdue the people of God. But the Lord commands His people to resist fear and trust in Him, for He alone is the true ruler over all.

Look to God, Not to Evil Rulers

Psalm 121:1-2

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

God’s people are not meant to follow the leadership of those who are filled with evil. Many leaders today are consumed with their own power, making themselves appear invincible. Yet, God has never called His people to submit to wicked rulers. He alone is the true King, and He expects His followers to keep their eyes on Him, not on earthly governments. Those who focus on God will see Him move mightily on their behalf.

Stay Strong in Faith and Reject Fear

2 Timothy 1:7

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Fear is the weapon the enemy uses to manipulate people into submission. When believers allow fear to control them, they fall into spiritual depression and become unable to stand against oppression. However, those who remain steadfast in their faith will experience God’s strength. The Lord is calling His people to rise up with courage and refuse to be ruled by fear.

God’s People Must Stand Against Evil

Ephesians 6:12

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

The battle is not against human rulers but against the demonic forces influencing them. God has given His people power over these evil spirits through Jesus Christ. As believers, we must refuse to obey the commands of wicked leaders when those commands contradict the will of God. Instead, we are called to be radical and revolutionary for the Kingdom of God, standing boldly against the darkness.

God Will Arise and Scatter the Enemy

Psalm 37:28

"For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not His saints; they are preserved forever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off."

The Lord hears the cries of His people. He is aware of the oppression and injustice that they endure. He has promised to arise and bring justice, scattering the forces of darkness. Though evil may seem powerful, it cannot stand against the might of God. Those who remain faithful will see the victory of the Lord as He rises to destroy the works of the enemy.

Rejoice, for God is Our Refuge

Proverbs 18:10

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe."

In the midst of turmoil, believers must find their strength and hope in the Lord. He is their refuge, their protector, and their provider. The righteous are never abandoned, for God is always present to defend those who trust in Him. Even in times of great distress, there is reason to rejoice, for God is faithful and will never fail His people.

Prayer of Salvation

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. Pray this prayer from your heart:

"Lord Jesus, I come before You today, acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again for my salvation. I ask You to forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. I surrender my life to You and ask You to be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me in Your truth. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
