Aggressive Christianity By Major Frank Materu
Key Bible Scriptures
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."
– 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
"Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus."
– 2 Timothy 2:3
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
– Ephesians 6:10-12
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

Introduction
Aggressive Christianity (ACMTC) is an international missionary training organization focused on spiritual warfare and the global mission of bringing Jesus to the world.
The essence of this ministry is not violence or physical weapons but the power of the Holy Spirit in spiritual battle. As Christians, we are called to fight not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, standing firm in our faith, and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally.
What is Aggressive Christianity?
Aggressive Christianity is the spirit of boldness in faith. It is a call for believers to engage in spiritual warfare, defend the faith, and advance the Kingdom of God. It is based on the teachings of the Bible, particularly in 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, where Paul writes:
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." (2 Corinthians 10:3-4)
This verse emphasizes that the battle is not physical but spiritual, using divine weapons to demolish strongholds and bring victory in Christ.
The Spirit of Aggressive Christianity
Aggressive Christianity is not about creating chaos or violence, but about confronting sin, evil, and spiritual oppression. Just as Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple, He showed us that a righteous anger can stir us to action against evil. In Matthew 21:12-13, Jesus declared:
"Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves." (Matthew 21:12-13)
The spirit of Aggressive Christianity involves standing up against the spiritual forces of darkness and aggressively pursuing God’s purpose.
The Christian Soldier in the Bible
Scripture teaches that Christians are soldiers in the spiritual battle. In 2 Timothy 2:3, Paul instructs Timothy to:
"Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 2:3)
This call to engage in battle is not physical but spiritual. Believers are soldiers armed with faith, prayer, and the Word of God.
In 1 Timothy 6:12, we are told to:
"Fight the good fight of the faith." (1 Timothy 6:12)
As Christians, we are to stand firm in our faith, defending it against attacks from the enemy.
The Armor of God
The Bible provides us with clear instructions on how to prepare for spiritual warfare. In Ephesians 6:10-18, Paul describes the Armor of God:
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:10-12)
The Armor of God equips believers to withstand spiritual attacks and fight in the name of Christ. We are called to be strong in the Lord, standing firm in the faith.
The Call to Volunteer and Serve
Aggressive Christianity is not about sitting in a comfortable church or retreating from the battle. It is about actively engaging in the mission of Christ—to take the Gospel to every corner of the world.
ACMTC seeks volunteer workers who will dedicate their time, love, and energy to spreading the message of Jesus Christ.
This work is for those who are willing to sacrifice and give their lives for the cause of Christ. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 12:1, we are to:
"Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." (Romans 12:1)
Being part of ACMTC means being a soldier of Christ, willing to lay down your life for the sake of the Gospel.
The First Church and Its Mission
The early church was not concerned with comfort or seeking acceptance from the world. They were willing to lay down their lives for the Gospel.
Acts 2:42-47 shows how the first believers were devoted to the apostles’ teachings, to fellowship, and to prayer. They were driven by a mission to share the Gospel, regardless of the cost.
The church today must rediscover that same passion and commitment. As Matthew 28:19-20 commands:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)
This is the heart of Aggressive Christianity—to make disciples and bring people into the kingdom of God.
The Problem with the Modern Church
The problem today is that many believers are reluctant to allow God to fully reign over their lives. Too many are caught up in the comforts of the world and are unwilling to risk it all for the sake of the Gospel. Revelation 3:15-16 warns:
"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:15-16)
God calls us to be passionate and zealous, not lukewarm. He desires soldiers who are willing to stand firm in the battle for souls.
Summary
Aggressive Christianity calls believers to take an active role in spiritual warfare. It is not about violence or destruction but about standing firm in faith, spreading the Gospel, and defending the truth. Christians are called to fight the good fight, armed with the full armor of God, to share the love of Jesus with the world.
Conclusion
As Christians, we are in the midst of a spiritual battle. Aggressive Christianity is about taking our place in this battle—standing firm, defending the faith, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
The mission is clear: to make disciples of all nations, to bring people to salvation in Jesus Christ, and to see God’s glory revealed in the earth. Will you join the fight? Will you answer the call to be a soldier of Christ?
The world needs aggressive Christians who will stand in the power of God and make a difference.
