Introduction
One of the greatest mistakes people make in their spiritual journey is underestimating the value of small beginnings. Human nature often desires immediate success, instant recognition, visible results, and abundant increase. People admire large ministries, successful businesses, influential leaders, and prosperous individuals, yet few understand the humble beginnings from which these things emerged.
God's Kingdom operates according to principles that are often opposite to the thinking of the world. The world celebrates greatness after it becomes visible, but God values the hidden process that produces greatness. The world seeks instant promotion, but God develops character through seasons of obscurity. The world measures success by outward appearance, while God measures success by obedience, humility, and faithfulness.
Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly demonstrates His preference for beginning with small things. He chose a shepherd boy named David before making him king. He selected fishermen before transforming them into apostles. He planted His Kingdom message into the hearts of ordinary people before changing entire nations through them.
The prophetic message before us reveals a profound Kingdom truth: God intentionally works through small beginnings. Just as a seed must be planted, die, and break through the soil before becoming fruitful, so every work of God begins in humility before it reaches abundance.

Many believers become discouraged because they do not immediately see results. They pray and expect instant answers. They obey God and expect immediate rewards. However, God's process involves development. Seeds require time. Roots must grow before branches can flourish.
When we understand God's Kingdom principles, we cease despising small beginnings and begin appreciating every stage of growth.

God never despises spiritual infancy. Instead, He nurtures it patiently until maturity is achieved.
The Church must learn to value spiritual growth at every stage and recognize that today's new believer may become tomorrow's powerful servant of God.

Pride causes many people to miss God's intended blessings. Pride convinces individuals that they are self-sufficient. It leads them to take credit for God's work and forget the source of their blessings.
Humility recognizes God's sovereignty. Humility acknowledges dependence upon God's grace. Humility gives glory to God for every achievement and success.
The truly mature believer understands that every opportunity, gift, talent, resource, and blessing originates from God.
When believers remain humble, God continues entrusting them with greater responsibility and greater influence. Humility positions us for divine promotion because God can safely bless those who consistently honor Him.

The prophetic message reminds us that treasures accumulated on earth cannot accompany us into eternity.
