In today’s world, we are surrounded by a pervasive culture that celebrates death, glorifies sin, and disregards the sanctity of life. This reality stems from humanity’s decision to turn away from God and embrace the ways of darkness. As a result, we are witnessing the devastating consequences of a society consumed by sin, rebellion, and idolatry. This message seeks to awaken us to the spiritual reality of this culture of death and call us back to the life and light offered by our Creator.

The Idol of Death
Proverbs 8:36 *"But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death."
The worship of death is evident in many aspects of our society. From the glorification of violence and immorality to the acceptance of practices like abortion, humanity has bowed to the idol of death. By rejecting the fear of God, people have turned to practices that destroy life, both physically and spiritually. This is a reflection of a society that has lost its way and fallen under the control of demonic forces.

The Consequences of Sin
James 1:15
"Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death."
Sin leads to death. This principle is unchanging. When individuals and nations choose to embrace sin, they invite destruction upon themselves. The consequences are visible in the breakdown of families, the corruption of values, and the pervasiveness of despair. Sin blinds people, making them think they can escape the consequences of their actions, but the truth remains: the wages of sin is death.

The Agenda of Death in Society
Isaiah 59:7
"Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths."
The culture of death manifests through various agendas. Abortion, the murder of the most vulnerable, is celebrated as a “right” while it is an abomination before God. Immorality, perversion, and violence are glorified in media and entertainment, leading people further into darkness. Wars and conflicts, driven by greed and power, destroy countless lives without purpose. These are all offerings to the idol of death, and they grieve the heart of God.

God’s Call to Life
Deuteronomy 30:19
"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live."
God’s desire is for humanity to choose life. He offers us a path of redemption, healing, and restoration through Jesus Christ. While the world glorifies death, God’s people are called to stand as beacons of life, walking in righteousness and proclaiming His truth. By embracing His ways, we can overcome the darkness and bring hope to a broken world.

The Judgment of God
Galatians 6:7-8
"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."
A time of reckoning is coming for those who persist in worshiping the idol of death. God’s wrath will be revealed against the wickedness of this generation. Those who reject His mercy and choose to live in rebellion will face eternal separation from Him. However, for those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways, He promises protection and deliverance, even in times of great tribulation.
