PRAY FOR TRANSFORMATION IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM By Major. Frank Materu
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." – 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
When you pray, pray for transformation in the spiritual realm to bring about change.
Transformation in the spirit realm paves the way for people to be renewed and brought into the fullness of life as God desires.
It is in the spiritual realm where mindsets shift, and evil forces lose their grip.
There are dark spirits that rule in the spiritual realm, but as you pray for their destruction, the armies of God’s Spirit take charge, bringing renewal to people.
Pray persistently for change in the spiritual realm, and you will witness its impact in the physical.
DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS
"We, however, will not boast beyond proper limits, but will confine our boasting to the sphere of service God himself has assigned to us." – 2 Corinthians 10:13
Do not compare yourselves with others, for God created each person with a unique purpose.
Comparing yourself to others is not wise.
Can the hand be compared to the foot? Certainly not.
Each has its own role, purpose, and function.
Similarly, the people of God are diverse, each crafted to fulfill a specific part of His plan.
Celebrate your role in the body of Christ.
God requires every part of His body to accomplish His good purposes.
Rejoice in being part of His creation and His plan, knowing that your contribution is vital to His Kingdom.
SEEK GOD FIRST
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." – Matthew 6:33
Far too often, people turn to human solutions before seeking God.
They rely on human hands for help, turning to God only when all else fails.
If people would seek God first, they would not exhaust themselves chasing false solutions.
God has not called us to understand everything but to trust Him completely.
Let us seek Him first and depend on His wisdom and provision rather than the fleeting assurances of humanity.
UNITY IN THE ASSEMBLY:
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."* – Matthew 18:20
Observe how the enemy strives to destroy what is good, mocking those who separate themselves from sin and wickedness.
The enemy targets those who resist his temptations, seeking to scatter and destroy them.
The enemy knows the power of unity among God’s people.
He understands that when believers come together as one in the name of the Lord, their collective strength becomes a threat to his kingdom.
This is why the enemy works tirelessly to create division and separation.
When God’s people are divided, their strength diminishes. But when they unite as one, they become a force capable of overcoming the powers of darkness.
Therefore, strive for unity, for it is in coming together that God’s people find strength and victory.
LEARN PATIENCE AND WAIT FOR GOD:
"The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him." – Lamentations 3:25
Do not act hastily, for those who rush into action are prone to sin.
There are appointed times and seasons set by the living God.
Be patient and wait for His timing, for those who rush ahead of Him bring about their own downfall.
When you wait for the Lord, He goes before you and prepares the way.
God has not called us to lead Him but to follow faithfully behind Him.
Patience is a gift that God desires to see in His people.
While many may scorn patience, it remains God’s chosen way for His people.
Do not despise the process by which He teaches you endurance, for it is through this process that you are refined.
EMBRACE GOD’S PLAN:
Do not look back with regret or say, “If only things had gone this way or that way.”
What you imagine to be the perfect path may have led to stagnation or even destruction.
Accept life as it unfolds, knowing that the hand of the living God is upon you.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." – Jeremiah 29:11
God’s ways are perfect, and His guidance is flawless.
Trust in His wisdom, for He is leading you toward life and abundance, even when His path differs from what you envisioned.
Wait upon Him, walk in patience, and trust in the perfection of His plan.
Conclusion:
Transformation begins in the spiritual realm, and prayer is the key to unlocking change.
Seek God first, avoid comparisons, and strive for unity among His people.
Be patient, trusting that God’s timing is perfect, and embrace His plan for your life.
"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." – Isaiah 40:31
