IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD? by Major Frank Materu

----Main Bible Verse:

“Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” — Genesis 18:14 (NKJV)

----Introduction:

In this teaching, we will explore the limitless power of God and how His ability to do the impossible stands in stark contrast to human limitations. God desires that His people live in faith and confidence, trusting that there is nothing too hard for Him. In a world filled with doubt and disbelief, it is vital that we understand the nature of God’s boundless power. This message serves to encourage believers to trust in God's ability to do what no one else can, knowing that He can perform miracles and fulfill His promises in our lives.

----The God of the Impossible

God is not bound by human limitations. While mankind often finds itself unable to accomplish certain tasks, God can do anything. From the creation of the world to the smallest miracles in our daily lives, God’s power knows no bounds. His ability to perform the impossible is what makes Him unique among all gods. It is our duty as believers to recognize and believe in this truth, trusting that God’s power can overcome any obstacle.

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” — Luke 1:37 (NKJV)

----The Dangers of Limiting God

It is a great mistake to limit God by our own doubts and unbelief. Many people, in their finite understanding, try to box God into what they think is possible, based on their limited perspective. This attitude is foolishness before God. He has no limitations. Our faith should be anchored in His unlimited power, knowing that He is capable of accomplishing anything, no matter how impossible it may seem.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” — Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)

----Trusting God Beyond Science and Human Understanding

While science and human understanding are valuable, they are limited in scope. Human knowledge is often flawed and can be biased, particularly when it dismisses the power of God. As believers, we must not place our ultimate trust in human wisdom but in the supernatural power of God. He is the Creator of the universe, and nothing in the world can exceed His power. When we choose to trust in Him, we are stepping into the realm of divine possibility.

“For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” — 1 Corinthians 1:25 (NKJV)

----God’s Miracles in History

Throughout the Bible, God has demonstrated His ability to perform the impossible for His people. From the parting of the Red Sea to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, God has consistently shown His power to overcome obstacles and deliver His people. These miracles were not just to show His might but to display His love and faithfulness. God’s miracles are not only meant to be witnessed, but they are also meant to inspire our faith in Him today.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)

----Living in the Light of God’s Power

As believers, we are called to live in the light of God’s limitless power. We should not walk in darkness, relying on our own strength, but instead, we should trust in the One who can do what no man or woman can do. God calls us to rise above the limitations of this world and to believe in His power to perform miracles. We must live with expectancy, knowing that God’s power is available to us, and He will show us His greatness when we put our trust in Him.

“And He said, ‘The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.’” — Luke 18:27 (NKJV)

----Summary

This teaching has highlighted the limitless power of God and His ability to perform the impossible. We are reminded that God’s power is beyond human understanding, and that our faith in Him should reflect that. We are encouraged to trust in God’s ability to overcome obstacles, knowing that He can do what no one else can. Our reliance should be on God’s power, not on human wisdom or strength. As we trust Him, we will witness His miracles and experience His divine intervention in our lives.

----Conclusion

In times of doubt and uncertainty, we must remember that nothing is too hard for God. He is the God of the impossible, and He has proven time and again that He is capable of doing what seems impossible to us. Let us be encouraged to trust in His limitless power, knowing that He will never fail us. Whether we are facing personal challenges or global crises, God is able to intervene and bring about His will. Our faith in Him should remain strong, for He is faithful to His promises.

----Call to Action

I encourage you to examine your own life and the areas where you may have limited God. Are there situations in your life where you have doubted His power? Are you facing challenges that seem impossible? Bring them before God and trust that He is able to do what no one else can. Let your faith rise to the level of His power, knowing that He is faithful to act on behalf of those who trust in Him.

---Final Word of Encouragement

Take heart, for the God who created the heavens and the earth is the same God who is working on your behalf today. There is nothing that is too difficult for Him. As you place your faith in Him, expect miracles, breakthroughs, and divine intervention. Trust in the God of impossibilities, and He will show Himself strong in your life.
